How to Use The Dental Register to Find Dentists in North East England

With a simple search function, using The Dental Register to find urgent dental care couldn’t be easier.

On the homepage, type in the specific name of your town or city to the search bar, for example, ‘Newcastle’. Instantly, The Dental Register will provide you with a long list of dental care providers in your area. This list will be ordered in a default way, which can be changed by selecting an option from the drop-down menu at the top right-hand corner.

You can choose to have the search result list ordered in terms of the newest, oldest, highest-rated, or lowest-rated. You can also expand or narrow your search by adjusting the radius bar found on the left-hand side.

The rating system is based on reviews left by other users. The highest-rated dentists have 5-star reviews, whereas the lowest-rated practices have 1-star.

What Information Is Included on the Register?

Each search result will display basic information about the dentist. This information includes whether they are a private dental practice or offer NHS dentistry. The result will also detail whether they are a paediatric, orthodontist, or any other kind of specialist.

If you click on a search result, you will be redirected to a more detailed profile about the practice you clicked on. This page will include all of their contact information as well as a Google Maps link, which can give you a better idea of where they are located. You may also be able to find a link to their website.

You can also use this page to message the dental practice directly, using the ‘got an enquiry?’ feature, located at the bottom right of the page.

At the very bottom of the page, you can find reviews of the dental care provider. Here, you’ll be able to judge whether the practice is right for the services you need. After you’ve received an appointment at the dental practice, we encourage you to come back and leave your own review.
